This project involved the renovation of an old 1970s office building that I worked on for my final year of college. It involved intricate analysis of building regulations to avoid any unnecessary alterations to the existing structure of the building along with designing a new thermal envelope incorporated with a proposed airtightness strategy. Designing these strategies around an old structure was challenging but ultimately expanded my knowledge on various systems as I had to undertake research to find the most suitable systems for the renovation project.
